Shawna Gilmore's Land of Wonder exhibit is up at the Duluth Art Institute ... Wednesday, she'll present an artist talk and her exhibit - deemed "surprisingly kid-friendly" by museum curator Annie Dugan - will even feature some artwork hung at kids'-eye-level.

A continuation of last week, UMD professors Elizabeth James and Jim Klueg join us to discuss the current ceramics exhibit at the Tweed Museum of Art. As an overview of the Tweed and Bemidji State collections as well as contributions from other local artists including James and Klueg, this exhibit offers a wide array of styles and processes from artists with regional, national, and international acclaim. Resurfaced and Reformed: Evolution in Studio Ceramics runs through August 1, 2015 at the UMD Tweed Museum of Art.

Resurfaced and Reformed: Evolution in Studio Ceramics opens at the Tweed Museum of Art with a reception on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 6 to 8pm.
