Winnipeg Folk Festival is a relaxed and happy three-day music and camping festival featuring quiet a diverse lineup. A few artists to mention include City and Colour, Feist, Brandie Carlile, who are playing alongside many noteworthy artists spanning across genres and experience.

We are partnering with First Avenue to bring you this exciting lineup of Minnesota musicians to Bayfront Festival Park on Saturday, July 8. Gates open at 4:30 pm with music starting at 5:00 pm. The show also includes exciting opening acts: Remo Drive and J.S. Ondara. This an all-ages show!

The Night for the Natives fundraiser concerts happening on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15 will benefit the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA). The NAJA's primary goal is, to strengthen communication efforts both among Native people and between Native Americans and the general public.

All Pints North is back again this year featuring over 120 breweries from local to national. The event is from 3-7pm on Saturday, July 29. Be sure to stop by the KUMD tent to meet our DJs, staff, and volunteers.

The UMD Commission for Women invites the campus to get or stay civically engaged by writing to their legislators over the lunch hour on February 1, in the Kirby Student Center.

The KUMD Concert Series at the Red Herring Lounge has kicked off once again! This month, we present The Dead Pigeons with Feeding Leroy and Trevor Marrin.

Bad Bad Hats

On Saturday, December 17th, KUMD brings you Bad Bad Hats with Secret Badass and Maddy Siiter at Sacred Heart Music Center. The Minneapolis indie-rockers dropped their debut album, Psychic Reader in July of 2015 which was a favorite on KUMD's student radio program, The Basement. They return to Duluth this weekend joined by two local acts: garage rockers Secret Badass who is celebrating their debut EP Waiting For The Cops To Come, and the young singer-songwriter, Maddy Siiter.

Atmosphere’s Freshwater Fly Fisherman Tour is making a stop in Duluth on Monday, November 28th at Clyde Iron Works. They are bringing a strong Rhymesayers crew with them as Brother Ali, deM atlaS will also take stage.

UMD Networking Night
UMD Alumni Association

UMD Networking Night is a chance for students to gain confidence in networking while connecting to Duluth employers and learning about local opportunities. The event is happening on Thursday, November 17th in Greysolon Ballroom from 5:307:30pm and is presented by the UMD Alumni Association.
