Led by longtime KUMD student DJ Dean Berlinerblau of Loud Noise, Northern Isolation serves as a vehicle of free speech and expression.

On Saturday, July 22, The Reader is bringing a free and all-ages festival to Duluth. The festival will feature food stands, fire dancers, kids activities and tons of music starting at 2pm.

Winona LaDuke's Honor the Earth is bringing the 5th Annual Love Water Not Oil Tour to Bayfront on Sunday, July 16 starting at 2:00pm. Join us for a night of indigenous resistance music with a mission to stop Enbridge.

Winnipeg Folk Festival is a relaxed and happy three-day music and camping festival featuring quiet a diverse lineup. A few artists to mention include City and Colour, Feist, Brandie Carlile, who are playing alongside many noteworthy artists spanning across genres and experience.

We are partnering with First Avenue to bring you this exciting lineup of Minnesota musicians to Bayfront Festival Park on Saturday, July 8. Gates open at 4:30 pm with music starting at 5:00 pm. The show also includes exciting opening acts: Remo Drive and J.S. Ondara. This an all-ages show!

The Night for the Natives fundraiser concerts happening on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15 will benefit the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA). The NAJA's primary goal is, to strengthen communication efforts both among Native people and between Native Americans and the general public.

All Pints North is back again this year featuring over 120 breweries from local to national. The event is from 3-7pm on Saturday, July 29. Be sure to stop by the KUMD tent to meet our DJs, staff, and volunteers.
