Tom is an 11 year old Black Lab who was surrendered by his owner. But don't let his age fool you. He is very healthy, happy, and LOVES everyone. He needs a kind soul to give him a spot in their home and shower him with love for the time he has left. He is such a good boy.  Gizzie is a 3 year old calico Domestic Short Hair. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home!

Rune

Rune is a calico short haired cat who is one and a half years old. She came to us as a stray from Duluth and is now looking for her new loving home! Rune has lovely yellow eyes and soft fur. She has extra toes on her feet that look like thumbs, and will knead them happily when you talk to her. Start petting her, and she'll lean into your hand to make sure she's getting a thorough chin rub.
She will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time of adoption.

Adopting an animal - with the lifetime commitment that entails - can be a little intimidating.

But what if you could just try it out for a few weeks?

The aquarium needs cleaning and the kids have lost interest in the fish.  Or the frogs. Or the gecko.

But flushing or dumping everything outside is a bad idea for two reasons:  one, it's inhumane for the animals and two, it's a really bad idea for the environment.

The same hardiness that makes milfoil and goldfish such great aquarium dwellers means they also excel as  invasive species.
