This week Radio Gallery revisits our interview with Wing Young Huie, a photographer originally from Duluth. His exhibit titled "Identity and the American Landscape: The Photography of Wing Young Huie" opened at the SZ Arts Center in the renowned 798 Art District in Beijing in December 2010.

Radio Gallery 06-15-2011: Wing Young Huie

Huie is currently exhibiting his work in a show titled "Identity and the American Landscape: The Photography of Wing Young Huie." It is an 80-photograph retrospective selected from eleven of his projects and is currently traveling throughout China. This exhibit is facilitated by the Arts Midwest and the United States Embassy in China and opened at the SZ Arts Center in the renowned 798 Art District in Beijing in December 2010 and will be in shown in Xi'an, Shanghai, Wuhan, Dalian, Guangzhou, and other cites to be announced. Radio Gallery revisits his interview to hear how he uses photography to create a cultural landscape and a societal view of who we are. Huie will also participated in a show titled "Northern Spark: a nuit blanche" which was an art event along the Mississippi and surrounding areas.
