"Colder by the Lake" is a comedy theatre group in Duluth that has been around for over twenty years. The group began with sketch comedy, and went on to many other types of original and adapted comedies, including an original Comedy Opera. This year, the group put on another sketch comedy, "Older by the Lake," which was performed on March 11th-13th and the 18th-20th at 7:30 pm, and March 14th at 2 pm.

Radio Gallery 03-10-10: Margi Preus and Jean Sramek

Hosted by Maija Morton

Margi Preus and Jean Sramek were co-directors for this year's production, "Older by the Lake." Preus and Sramek also developed a majority of the script for the production. However, because it is a sketch comedy, the script is a collaboration of ideas from all of those involved. "Older by the Lake" deals with issues that many middle-aged people face, but by focusing on relationships, it represents all age groups. Sramek and Preus met with Radio Gallery to discuss the process and development of "Older by the Lake."
