Philip Blackburn is an environmental sound artist who composed a song titled "Duluth Harbor Serenade" featuring sounds from Duluth and Bayfront Park on September 3rd, 2011.
Philip Blackburn was born in Cambridge, England, and studied music there as a Choral Scholar at Clare College. He composed the soundtrack for the Wild Music: Sounds and Songs of Life exhibition initiated by the Science Museum of Minnesota that is now traveling the nation. Philip enjoys working with experimental music, public spaces, and everyday people.
