Journey to Wellness in Indian Country: a tribute to the "strong-hearted"

Apr 24, 2018

Zoongide'win (zoon GED eh win) means "strong-hearted" in Ojibwe, and it's also the title of an exhibition this week of maps, manuscripts and the resilience of the people who were here long before Europeans arrived.

In an unusual partnership, the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth Campus and the Center of American Indian and Minority Health are teaming up with the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum to present an evening of food, music and conversation.
