Gaypril at UMD is busting out all over with fun and informative events for queer students, their allies and anyone in the community who'd like to attend.

There's a prom for folks who'd like a do-over on their own high school prom experience, panel discussions on topics like drag and even cookie decorating as a gateway for getting people comfortable with pronouns like "they" and "them."

More information and a schedule of Gaypril events can be found here.

Lee Cygan, the UMD Queer and Allied Student Union Chairperson, was incorrectly identified as "she."  Lee prefers the pronouns "they/them/theirs."
