Radio Gallery goes inside the studios of the Northrup King Building, all a part of the upcoming weekend of open studio tour event "Art-A-Whirl in Northeast Minneapolis Friday May 16-18.
Christina Hankins' 3rd floor studio in the Northrup King building is just one of hundreds in a blur of spectacular and intriguing studios full of art. Most are work spaces turned galleries, some are strictly galleries and others are just work-spaces opened to the public. Not all artists are created equal and not all artists with studios create such beautiful work. Hankins is a practiced and accomplished painter who makes beautiful art. Before Art-A-Whirl kicks off 2014, she joins radio gallery to talk about about her roots, her work and how her studio works for her.
