This Minnesota guitarist, the son of artist George Morrison, has put together a jazz album as a soundtrack to a slideshow of his father's work. He joined us on November 3, 2015 to preview a live showing of the slideshow and performance of the soundtrack at the Tweed Museum of Art the same evening.
This Minneapolis Americana band has its roots in Duluth, where band members Wills Johnson and Jackson Chalgren (both UMD graduates) met and started their musical collaboration. The full band has been playing their eclectic, jamming mix of bluegrass, rock, and reggae for more than two years and released their self-titled debut album earlier this year. They joined us in the studio on October 23, 2015 to preview their show the following night at the Rex in Duluth.
