Summer is here and time to take advantage of the many outdoor arts events in the Twin Ports. This week's Radio Gallery is a summer long tour of the best in weekly art festivals and weekly art in the park events for the whole family. From the Park Point Art Fair all the way through to Pride on Labor Day Weekend, we are your source for outdoor fun with the arts.

Old School Arts Center

This week Radio Gallery spotlights The 7th Annual Bike Show, brought to you by Altered Esthetics, which brings together communities in the Twin Cities. The exhibition will run from May 31 - June 28, 2012, and the last date for submission is April 15, 2012.

Radio Gallery spotlights the A+D Annual Student Exhibition Jurors' Lecture that is starting on April 10th at 6:00PM in Montague Hall 70 at UMD. Scott Stulen and Bud Rodecker will be two jurors at the event. Bud is a UMD grad and earned a degree in Graphic Design with a minor in photography.

This week Radio Gallery is spotlighting a special exhibit: Homegrown: Visual Arts Edition in the Corridor Gallery. The festival runs from April 5th through May 26th at the Duluth Art Institute.

This week Radio Gallery spotlights Craft beer brewing as Duluth celebrates Bockfest, a German celebration of spring. Events take place in the Fitger's courtyard starting Thursday with the "blessing of the bock" and continue through Saturday all accompanied by the special brew "Split Rock Bock" from Lake Superior Brewing.

Chris Willcox became interested in the history of exploration of Antarctica and has created scenes that capture what the bleak, yet beautiful, landscape has to offer.
